We currently have brown egg laying hens from a Pennsylvania Hatchery. They are raised on pasture and a locally grown whole grain non gmo (non genetically modified) feed. The feed is not medicated and our chickens are never given antibiotics of any kind.
They are housed in a mobile hen house that is rotated onto fresh pasture every few days during the growing season. This allows them to have a constant supply of bugs and greens. Pasture raised eggs are lower in cholesterol and saturated fat then conventional eggs. They are also higher in vitamin A, D, E and Beta Carotene. We believe the taste is far superior to anything you will find in a grocery store.
We have eggs available at the farm and also sell them at the Phoenixville Farmers’ Market.
